Production for the upcoming Christmas comedy, 'Nutmeg & Mistletoe,' has officially wrapped in Los Angeles this week. Essential Film Group is set to launch world sales for the film at the EFM in Berlin.
The movie features a cast including Madeleine Arthur, Sarah Jeffery, and Maia Kealoha, who starred in 'Lilo and Stitch.' Kealoha plays Alma, a young girl whose town has lost its Christmas spirit. In response, two elves, Nutmeg and Mistletoe, are sent undercover.
Directed by Peter Herro and written by Jennifer Bascom and Deborah Dodge, the film benefited from the California tax credit. Producers expressed excitement about bringing production jobs to LA and spreading Christmas joy, with a planned release in Christmas 2026.
