Netflix Spain Streams Filmin's Curated Cinema

Netflix has partnered with Spanish streaming service Filmin to offer a curated selection of films and documentaries to its members in Spain. This collaboration, effective from Thursday, October 1st, 2026, introduces a dedicated section on Netflix featuring monthly collections.

The first collection, titled "October Mysteries," is available now, featuring titles like "The Shrouds" and "Late Night with the Devil." Each month, beginning on the first day, a new set of 10 films selected by Filmin will be added to Netflix, with the previous month's selection remaining for a second month.

This alliance seeks to expose Filmin's catalog to a broader audience, with themed collections changing seasonally. Representatives from both companies expressed enthusiasm, highlighting Filmin's nearly 20 years of dedication to cinema and Netflix's expansive reach as a perfect synergy to showcase independent films.

Filmin, based in Barcelona, is renowned for its curated selection of independent cinema and documentary content, offering both monthly and annual subscription plans. The financial terms of this new partnership were not disclosed.
