- Showrunners of 'Abbott Elementary' and 'Harley Quinn' developing the series.

Netflix is developing a new comedy series titled 'I Suck at Girls,' inspired by Justin Halpern's autobiography. The show will center on the adolescent experiences of three high school sophomores as they grapple with romance and the challenges of growing up.
Justin Halpern, alongside his creative partner Patrick Schumacker, will serve as showrunner, writer, and executive producer for their Delicious Non-Sequitur Productions. Both are also executive producers on ABC's 'Abbott Elementary' and Max's 'Harley Quinn.' The series will feature Kayo Martin as Steven, Jeremy Ray Taylor as Garrett, and Laila Pruitt as Anna.
Mega-producer Bill Lawrence is also executive producing through Doozer Productions, alongside Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer. Warner Bros. Television will produce the series. This adaptation aims to capture the humorous and often embarrassing aspects of adolescence, a departure from the adult experiences Halpern previously explored in the 2014 series 'Surviving Jack.'
