Netflix is developing a new television series based on the acclaimed book "The Nanny Diaries." This adaptation will bring the popular novel by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus to a new audience.
Amy Chozick, known for her work on "House of Cards," and Jenny Bicks, who has written for "Sex and the City," are set to write and executive produce the series. They will also share showrunner duties, guiding the creative direction of the show.
Scarlett Johansson, who previously starred as the titular nanny in the 2007 film adaptation, is attached as an executive producer through her production company, These Pictures. Other executive producers include Jonathan Lia, Keenan Flynn, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Gary Barber, and Sean Hoagland. Warner Bros.
