Bela Bajaria, Netflix's Chief Content Officer, will be honored with the prestigious Emmy Founders Award for her significant contributions to reshaping the global entertainment landscape. This award recognizes her instrumental role in elevating international productions to worldwide acclaim.

Since becoming CCO in 2023, Bajaria has been at the helm of numerous international successes for Netflix. These include the record-breaking Korean drama 'Squid Game,' which remains the streamer's most-watched series ever, and the critically acclaimed British series 'Adolescence.' Her tenure has also seen the global rise of shows like the Spanish thriller 'Money Heist' and the French crime drama 'Lupin.'

Furthermore, Bajaria guided 'Stranger Things' to its epic finale, which achieved the largest English-language premiere in Netflix history and garnered over 1.2 billion views globally. The International Academy's President and CEO, Bruce L. Paisner, lauded Bajaria for building a content operation of remarkable scale and creative ambition, where stories in any language can become global hits.
