NEON has finalized a seven-figure global acquisition of Adrian Chiarella's Sundance Midnight premiere, 'Leviticus.' The film features Mia Wasikowska's comeback after a three-year hiatus and stars Joe Bird from 'Talk to Me.' It centers on two teenage boys escaping a violent entity embodying their deepest desires.
'Leviticus,' produced by Causeway Films, holds a 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and was handled by WME Independent. The film's producers include Samanta Jennings, Kristina Ceyton, and Hannah Ngo, with Causeway Films also providing financing.
In parallel, Olivia Wilde's sexual rom-com, 'The Invite,' is generating significant buzz. Reportedly nearing a deal with either A24 or Focus Features, the film received strong audience reactions and a 94% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes. UTA is managing the sale of 'The Invite,' which stars Wilde alongside Seth Rogen, Edward Norton, and Penelope Cruz.
