Nene Royal Crowned AGT Season 21 Champion!

Nene Royal, a 16-year-old singer and guitarist, has been named the champion of America's Got Talent season 21. The live results show on Wednesday, September 23, revealed Royal as the winner, granting her the $1 million grand prize and a coveted headlining performance in Las Vegas.

Royal's journey to victory saw her compete against a strong field of finalists, including magician Geno Ploeger and the dance collective Hundred Fingers. The season finale was a star-studded event, featuring collaborations between the top acts and musical guests. Nene Royal herself shared the stage with the band Linkin Park for a performance.

Throughout the season, several acts earned Golden Buzzers, fast-tracking them to the finale. Among them were singer Noelle, who received two Golden Buzzers, and Unitree, a futuristic act featuring humanoid robots. The competition format included a Judges' Callbacks round and an expanded ten Golden Buzzers.

Past AGT winners and notable performers also made appearances. Magician Mat Franco, a former AGT winner, mentored Geno Ploeger.
