The announcement comes after The Neighbourhood revealed in August 2025 that they had reunited the previous November, following a 3-year break. The band, which originally formed in 2011, cited personal challenges and life changes as the reasons for their temporary split. However, they have now regrouped and are ready to share their new music with fans.
Ahead of the album release, The Neighbourhood has already shared three tracks: "Private," "OMG," and "Lovebomb." The songs showcase the band's signature California indie sound, while also drawing inspiration from Brit-pop. Lyrically, the album is described as "intimate and self-aware," exploring themes of heartbreak and emotional vulnerability.
In other music news, the psychedelic rock band Tame Impala recently performed exclusive tracks for the A24 'Sound Check' series. The performances, which included renditions of "My Old Ways" and "Dracula," offered fans a unique glimpse into the band's live repertoire.
