Neetu Kapoor Shares Rare Wedding Night Photo

Neetu Kapoor has offered a rare glimpse into her wedding celebrations with the late Rishi Kapoor, sharing a throwback photograph from their sangeet night. The image captured legendary Pakistani singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan performing at Rishi Kapoor's residence, with the groom seen appreciating the music.

The iconic couple, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, tied the knot on January 22, 1980. However, Neetu later revealed that the wedding festivities were overwhelmingly crowded. She recounted fainting due to the sheer volume of people.

Rishi Kapoor, who was reportedly afraid of crowds, also passed out before mounting a horse for the ceremony, requiring brandy to steady himself. Neetu humorously noted that both bride and groom were inebriated during the ceremony.

Adding to the unusual nature of the event, Neetu also shared that pickpockets had infiltrated the large gathering, blending in as guests. These individuals presented the couple with bizarre gifts, further highlighting the chaotic yet memorable nature of their wedding.
