Michael Weatherly has made a highly anticipated return to NCIS as Tony DiNozzo for the show's 24th season. His comeback has ignited discussions among fans about a potential appearance by Cote de Pablo's character, Ziva David. Katrina Law, who portrays Jessica Knight, has shared her ideas for how Ziva could be integrated into the current storyline, suggesting a humorous dynamic between Knight and Ziva.
While Ziva's return is not confirmed, the series has established her proximity to the NCIS team, stating she is in Boston for work while her daughter Tali attends boarding school in the same city. This narrative setup allows for a plausible, albeit unconfirmed, appearance. In a recent episode, Knight revealed that Ziva had contacted her to ensure Tony maintained his diet, highlighting a continued connection.
As Tony assumes his new role as director, fans can anticipate more engaging interactions between him and Knight, along with the rest of the team. Even without a direct on-screen reunion with Ziva, her influence on Tony's well-being is being depicted. The current season promises further developments in Tony's storyline and potential case-of-the-week adventures.
