Comedian Nate Bargatze, 46, relocated his family to his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, approximately 10 years ago. This significant move was primarily driven by his desire to provide his daughter, Harper, now 13, with a grounded and "average" upbringing.

Bargatze expressed that their current neighborhood is a cul-de-sac where residents hold regular jobs, ensuring Harper is not immersed in the entertainment industry. While she is aware of his career and sometimes introduces him in specials, her daily life involves attending school and interacting with friends who have similar, non-industry backgrounds.

He emphasized that if Harper decides to pursue a career in entertainment, like her grandfather Stephen Bargatze (a magician), it will be entirely her own decision. This approach reflects Bargatze's commitment to allowing her to develop as an individual, keeping her childhood as normal as possible.

Bargatze, who shares Harper with his wife Laura, whom he met at an Applebee's in Tennessee, has largely maintained privacy around his family life. He explained that he wants his daughter to trust him implicitly as a father and feel comfortable sharing anything without fear of it becoming public knowledge.
