The star offered a peek into her experience aboard the renowned train, highlighting the opulent L'Observatoire cabin where she stayed. This private cabin reportedly spans an entire carriage and features in-suite dining, dedicated service, and a spacious bathroom. Portman documented activities such as playing Scrabble and enjoying live music in the dining cars, as well as the scenic views from the train. The journey, which can last several days, likely departed from her home base in Paris, where she has lived permanently since 2014. She has reportedly found happiness and a sense of normalcy in the French city since relocating with her children over a decade ago, following her ex-husband's job opportunity there.
