A cherished Nashville tradition, "Southern Rounds: Bringing Nashville to New York," is set to launch at the Paley Center for Media on September 24, 2026. This initiative aims to replicate Nashville's iconic songwriter gatherings in the heart of New York City, offering workshops and acoustic performances by celebrated Music City hitmakers.
The inaugural event will feature hit co-writers James Otto and D. Vincent Williams, alongside entrepreneur and songwriter Kevin MaC. Attendees will witness these artists share songs, discuss their creative backstories, and reveal the intimate process of country songwriting.
This series is a cornerstone of the Paley Center's expanded music programming for the year. It includes various live events, showcases, album releases, and listening parties. Additional "Southern Rounds" events are scheduled for October 29, November 11, December 11, 2026, and January 28 and February 18, 2027.
Maureen J. Reidy, President and CEO of the Paley Center, expressed excitement about bringing "the energy and spirit of Music City to New York." Tickets are available via the Paley Center website, with member presales currently live and public sales beginning September 4, 2026.
