Nanny from Hell: Tutor Plots Downfall of Wealthy Family

As of November 14th, 2025, the new TV thriller Malice is making waves, featuring an unlikely pairing of X-Files star David Duchovny and comedian Jack Whitehall. Duchovny plays Jamie Tanner, a wealthy businessman who hires Whitehall's character, Adam, as a tutor for his family's guests. However, Adam quickly proves to have a sinister agenda, gathering information about the Tanner household and setting various traps for the unsuspecting family.

Adam's actions range from flirting with Jamie's wife, Nat, to poisoning food and throwing Jamie's passport into the sea. Meanwhile, Duchovny's character revels in his role as the rich, entitled asshole, delivering sharp-witted lines and appearing largely unaffected by the chaos unfolding around him.

By the end of the first two episodes, Adam has firmly embedded himself within the Tanner household, which has now moved from their Greek island estate to their London mansion. The stage is set for a thrilling game of cat and mouse as the family begins to realize that their perfect lives are falling apart and wonder whether their new tutor is as perfect as he appears.
