Nani's 'Jadal' Look: Director's Childhood Braids Inspire Film

Director Srikanth Odela has shared a personal connection to the character Jadal in his upcoming film, 'The Paradise'. Odela revealed that Nani's distinctive braided hairstyle for the character was inspired by his own childhood, as his mother used to style his hair in braids until he was around five or six years old. He often imagined how a commercial cinema hero would appear with such a hairstyle on the big screen.

Odela shared a childhood photograph of himself sporting braids, stating that while Jadal's story is fictional, elements of his appearance were drawn from Odela's youth. This personal touch has resonated with audiences, with the braided look becoming a talking point since its introduction in promotional materials. The film 'The Paradise', starring Nani, is scheduled for theatrical release on September 24, 2026.

The upcoming drama is a collaboration between Odela and Nani, following their previous work on 'Dasara'. The film's production is managed by SLV Cinemas and co-produced by IVY Entertainment. IVY Entertainment is handling North India distribution with AA Films. Reports suggest Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds has been approached to present 'The Paradise' in overseas markets, indicating potential global reach.
