Actor Naman Shaw recently addressed a 2006 incident on the sets of 'Kasamh Se' involving co-star Ram Kapoor. During a media interaction, Kapoor kissed Shaw on the cheek, remarking on his physique, which was then misinterpreted by the press.
This led to sensational headlines questioning the actors' sexuality. As a newcomer, Shaw found the coverage overwhelming and dealt with intrusive questions about his orientation for an extended period. The channel later issued clarifications, but the impact lingered.
Shaw described the event as a moment between actors that was exaggerated by media. He also commented on Kapoor's expressive nature, suggesting a need for greater mindfulness regarding personal space, noting that similar actions have caused discomfort for others in different contexts, such as on the reality show 'Lock Upp' in 2026.
