Singer Cancels Vancouver Show for Family Health

British singer Myles Smith has canceled his Vancouver concert, originally scheduled for August 4, due to a major family health issue. The singer shared a statement on Instagram explaining that essential family appointments on that date require his attendance, prioritizing family above all else. He acknowledged that fans had made travel plans and spent money on tickets, expressing deep gratitude for their continued support.

Smith reassured fans holding tickets for subsequent shows that the cancellation is specific to the Vancouver date due to these unavoidable appointments. He affirmed that, as of now, the rest of his tour dates are proceeding as planned. The singer emphasized his commitment to transparency and his history of only canceling shows under critical circumstances, having cancelled only four out of over 400 performances in the past four years.

Earlier in July, Smith had indicated a personal situation was unfolding, stating he was home to be with loved ones. He mentioned that while much was happening in his personal life, he was taking things one day at a time. He also shared advice from close individuals not to let home difficulties derail his career dreams, thanking fans for their ongoing support.

Smith is scheduled to perform in Sacramento, California, next. His UK tour is set to begin in Kingston on October 1 and conclude in London on November 20. He is known for his 2024 singles 'Stargazing' and 'Nice To Meet You,' and received three nominations and the Rising Star award at the 2025 Brit Awards.
