My Chemical Romance's "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys" is enjoying a remarkable chart comeback, reaching new peaks over 15 years after its initial release. The album has secured the No. 2 spot on the Vinyl Albums chart, its highest position to date, and re-entered the Top Album Sales chart at No. 3.
During the recent tracking period, "Danger Days" sold an impressive 33,100 physical copies, contributing to a total of 35,400 equivalent album units. This surge in sales places the nearly 16-year-old album above several major contemporary releases. The band is also currently undertaking its "Long Live The Black Parade Tour."
Beyond vinyl and overall sales, "Danger Days" has also reappeared on genre-specific charts, reaching No. 4 on Top Rock Albums and Top Alternative Albums, and No. 5 on Top Rock & Alternative Albums. It has also re-entered the all-genre Billboard 200 at No. 15. Other My Chemical Romance releases, including "The Black Parade" and "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge," are also charting.
