Summary
- Maggie Baugh has a rule against dating bandmates
- Rumors of Baugh's romantic connection to Keith Urban after his split from Nicole Kidman
- Urban changed lyrics in his song "The Fighter" to reference Baugh during concerts

In October 2025, musician Maggie Baugh, now 25 years old, found herself at the center of a high-profile celebrity scandal. Rumors had been swirling about an alleged romantic connection between Baugh and country singer Keith Urban, following his public split from his wife of nearly 19 years, Nicole Kidman.
Baugh, who is one of Urban's guitarists on his High and Alive Tour, had previously expressed a firm stance against dating bandmates. In a 2017 interview, she explained, "There's always been a rule you can't date the band members because what happens if we break up?" Baugh prioritized platonic connections with her bandmates, referring to them as her "brothers."
However, the dynamics between Baugh and Urban on stage seemed to suggest otherwise. Footage from Urban's concerts showed the singer making several lyrical changes to his song "The Fighter," which was originally written about his relationship with Kidman. During one show in April 2025, Urban appeared to point at Baugh as he sang, "Maggie, I'll be your fighter." In a September 2025 performance, just days before news broke of Urban and Kidman's divorce, he changed the lyrics to "When they're tryna get to you, Maggie, I'll be your guitar player."
Baugh's father, Chuck Baugh, has vehemently denied the rumors, claiming that his daughter may not be "the person responsible for Keith's divorce from Nicole Kidman." Since the split, Urban has removed "The Fighter" from his setlist, and Baugh took a break from the tour as Natalie Stovall filled in for her.
