The Munson Arts Festival is set to captivate audiences from Saturday, July 11, through Sunday, July 19, 2026, featuring a wide array of free daily activities. This vibrant event promises artistic exploration with painting, sculpture, prints, music, film, and dance.
The festival's cornerstone is the Festival Art Show, open daily in the Museum of Art Root Court, showcasing juried works in watercolor, prints, photography, and sculpture. Guided tours of the Charles E. Burchfield exhibition are also available.
Families can engage with daily children's activities, including crafts and sidewalk chalk art. The event also highlights local talent through "Meet the Artist" sessions, featuring painters, jewelers, and illustrators throughout the festival.
Additional attractions include a Community Car Show, a luxury car exhibition, bonsai displays, and live music. Notably, a 10th Annual Big Ol' Steamrollin' Print Invitational will create large-relief prints using a 9-ton roller, alongside film screenings and a second annual Puppy Parade.
The festival concludes on Sunday, July 19, with the final opportunity to view the art show and meet the featured artist.
