Mukesh Khanna has expressed strong admiration for Ranveer Singh's recent film, 'Dhurandhar,' describing it as a "perfect commercial film" that will resonate with audiences. He commended the entire cast and crew, including director Aditya Dhar, for their exceptional contributions to the spy action thriller, which has achieved significant box office success, surpassing ₹500 crore net.

Khanna specifically highlighted Akshaye Khanna's impactful performance, suggesting it overshadowed the lead actors in a manner reminiscent of iconic villains in films like 'Sholay.' He emphasized the importance of strong writing and vision in character development, drawing from his own experience creating the superhero 'Shaktimaan.'

Addressing his previous decision regarding Ranveer Singh's potential role in a 'Shaktimaan' reboot, Khanna clarified that while he denied Singh the part, he recognizes the actor's talent and energy, evident in 'Dhurandhar.' He believes Singh's role in the film showcased gradual growth, hinting at a larger story for a potential sequel.
