- Mukesh's upcoming film with Kartik Aryan and Sreeleela was earlier titled "Aashqui 3"

In a candid interview last month, producer Mukesh Bhatt opened up about his separation from his elder brother, acclaimed filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. Mukesh expressed that he harbors no bitterness towards Mahesh, stating, "I don't know what he feels about me, but there is none from my side." He described Mahesh as "gullible" and claimed that "people had vested interests in how these brothers could be separated."
Addressing director Vikram Bhatt's allegations about Mukesh exploiting Mahesh, the 73-year-old producer emphasized, "Say what you want to say, I won't name anyone. Tell Vikram Bhatt to look within himself, listen to his own conscience. He will get the answer whether he's right or wrong." Mukesh went on to say that Mahesh is his "God" and "elder brother" whom he loves deeply and will always respect.
Mukesh's next project is a musical romantic-drama directed by Anurag Basu, featuring actors Kartik Aryan and Sreeleela. The film was earlier titled "Aashqui 3" but has now been tentatively renamed "Tu Meri Zindagi Hai," inspired by a popular song from the 1990 hit "Aashiqui." Filming for the movie is currently underway in Mumbai and is expected to continue through 2025, with post-production work extending into early 2026.
