MST3K Revival: Original Stars Return to Riff Again!

The upcoming revival of "Mystery Science Theater 3000" will feature the return of original series stars Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff. Beaulieu, who played Dr. Clayton Forrester and Crow T. Robot, and Conniff, known as TV's Frank, will reprise their roles in the fourth and final episode of the new run. They are also set to co-write this installment.
This collaboration is officially titled "Mystery Science Theater 3000: The RiffTrax Experiments." RiffTrax and Shout! Studios are producing four new episodes, with Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett serving as creative leads. Nelson, Murphy, and Corbett will also reprise their on-screen characters. Production is underway in Minneapolis, the original show's filming location. The episodes are expected to be released on RiffTrax's website later this year. A previous Kickstarter campaign for the revival successfully raised over $1 million in its first day.
