The Mise En Scène Company (MSC) has acquired international distribution rights for two new genre films, 'Forge' and 'Desert Road,' which are set to launch at the European Film Market (EFM).
'Forge,' a crime thriller directed by Jing Ai Ng, features Kelly Marie Tran and Andie Ju as siblings involved in replacing a millionaire's art collection while an FBI agent investigates. This film had its world premiere at SXSW.
Psychological thriller 'Desert Road,' also a SXSW premiere, stars Kristine Froseth as a photographer who becomes trapped in a time loop after her car breaks down in the desert. Beau Bridges and Ryan Hurst have supporting roles.
Firebrand Media Group is slated to release 'Desert Road' in U.S. theaters later in 2026. MSC's EFM lineup also includes 'Forelock' and 'Billy Knight.'
