She explained to Hindustan Times that while her parents encourage marriage, they also recognize the intense focus required of an actor, which often means sacrificing basic needs like sleep and food.

Thakur also commented on the widespread rumors linking her to actor Dhanush. She lightheartedly acknowledged the significant publicity these unfounded marriage rumors generated, even without a public relations team. She assured that if any serious relationship develops in her life, she will openly share the news.

In a separate interview with Zoom, Thakur discussed her views on love and relationships alongside co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi. She conveyed that she is currently "in transit" and, like Chaturvedi, wishes to keep future romantic involvements private and protected. Thakur also humorously pointed out that she cannot discuss being in a relationship when she is not, stating she is "on the verge of finding love."
