Mahavatar Narsimha, a mythological animation film, has taken the undisputed top spot as the most profitable Bollywood release. This surprise hit was produced with a modest budget of just 15 crore, yet it raked in a staggering net collection of 247.96 crore. Its impressive net profit stands at 232.96 crore, translating to an unprecedented 1553.07% return on investment, a benchmark likely to remain unmatched.

Interestingly, the list of most profitable films post-COVID does not feature many major Bollywood biggies in its top tier. While films like Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 achieved massive box office collections, their substantial budgets of 225 crore limited their return on investment. Saiyaara has made a significant mark, becoming the fifth most profitable film, while actors Abhay Verma and Sharvari Munjya are recognized among the four youngest stars in the top 10.
