Washed Out Kicks Off Montauk Summer Music

The Montauk Yacht Club is set to host its third Marina Music Series, commencing this Memorial Day Weekend with a performance by DJ Washed Out. This event, in partnership with Billboard, marks the continuation of a summer-long schedule of live music at the East End resort.

Washed Out, acclaimed by Pitchfork as the "Godfather of Chillwave," will present a sunset DJ set on Saturday, May 23, from 5 to 8 p.m. ET. The artist, Ernest Greene, has previously achieved success with two top 20 albums on Billboard's Top Dance Albums chart.

The Marina Music Series follows successful previous seasons, featuring artists like Anderson .Paak and St. Lucia in its inaugural year and NEIL FRANCES and Paco Versailles in 2025. The 2026 season promises more talent announcements soon.

This expansive luxury hotel and marina, established in 1928, boasts 16 acres, 106 rooms, and over 230 boat slips on Star Island. "Music has always been central to how we create culture and community across our properties," stated Casey Dolkas, vice president at Proper Hospitality.
