Molly Ringwald: The Breakfast Club Star's Ageless Glow

Molly Ringwald, renowned for her iconic roles in 1980s films like The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Pretty in Pink, has sparked a flurry of fan reactions with her remarkably youthful appearance. Now 58, the actress was recently photographed in New York City at a celebration honoring composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Lorenz Hart. Her striking appearance alongside Broadway stars Leslie Odom Jr. and Darren Criss led to numerous comments from her 1.2 million Instagram followers, with many expressing amazement at how little she appears to have aged.

Earlier in her career, as her star was rising, Ringwald experienced a profoundly demeaning audition. An unnamed director reportedly asked her to allow the male lead to place a dog collar around her neck, a request not present in the script. This unsettling incident was a significant factor in her decision to leave Hollywood and relocate to France. While living in Paris, she continued her acting career, commuting back to the US for work, before eventually returning to reside in the United States.

Ringwald's personal life has also seen significant changes. She was married to French writer Valéry Lameignère from 1999 to 2002. In 2007, she married Greek-American writer Panio Gianopoulos, with whom she has three children. Her recent appearance at the event in New York City, where she was seen smiling and engaging with fellow performers, underscores her continued presence in the entertainment world.
