Anil Kapoor Beat Newcomer in First Scene

Mohit Tiwari, an actor with over 15 years of theatre experience, recently made his cinematic debut in 'Subedaar'. He detailed his transition from the stage to film, noting that his role came about organically after director Suresh Triveni saw his audition tape. Tiwari expressed his excitement about acting alongside Anil Kapoor, a star he grew up watching.

Their initial collaboration involved an action sequence where Tiwari's character is beaten by Kapoor's. Tiwari recounted how Kapoor patiently guided him through the scene's timing and choreography, sharing his own early challenges. This supportive environment eased Tiwari's nerves, making the experience feel collaborative rather than star-intimidating. Kapoor also celebrated Tiwari's debut with cake and offered encouraging words on the final day of shooting.

While some of Tiwari's scenes were trimmed during editing, he accepted this as a natural part of filmmaking, trusting the director's vision. He also spoke positively of his brief professional interactions with co-star Radhika Madan, noting her focus and collaborative spirit. Currently, Tiwari is exploring independent projects, seeking challenging roles that offer substance and opportunities for growth.
