Mohanlal's Film Shoot Hits Forest Hurdle

Production for Mohanlal's upcoming movie, 'Athimanoharam', has begun in the Pampa region, near Sabarimala. Filming commenced after the Travancore Devaswom Board granted its approval for the initial stages. The project, which is being promoted as Mohanlal's 366th film, is penned by Ratheesh Ravi and directed by Tharun Moorthy. Mohanlal stars as Sub Inspector TS Lovelajan, with Meera Jasmine as Naicy.

The production team secured permissions from the Travancore Devaswom Board for areas like Pampa and Nilakkal. However, filming in locations under the Forest Department's jurisdiction faced hurdles. The department denied permission, citing the area's status within the Periyar Tiger Reserve. This refusal has restricted the film's schedule beyond the Pampa vicinity.

Separately, Mohanlal has unveiled an impressive lineup of seven upcoming film collaborations. He shared this exciting news on social media, highlighting upcoming projects with directors such as Vishnu Mohan, Anoop Sathyan, Priyadarshan, Dileesh Pothan, Sathyan Anthikad, Jude Anthany Joseph, and Jeethu Joseph. Notable among these are his reunion with Priyadarshan for the director's 100th film and a project with Dileesh Pothan titled 'Nedumkandam Miracle'.
