This was followed by Thudarum, which exceeded all predictions and became a blockbuster, achieving an impressive ₹122 crore net. Hridayapoorvam, his third film, also proved to be a success, contributing ₹40.14 crore net.
With these remarkable earnings, Mohanlal is on the verge of setting a new record. He needs just ₹31.09 crore more to reach the ₹300 crore milestone in a single year, a feat yet to be achieved by any actor in Malayalam cinema. His upcoming release, Vrusshabha, is expected to help him achieve this historic target.
