The Málaga Film Festival's Work in Progress (WIP) initiative is commencing, presenting 16 promising projects. These selected works hail from both Spain and various Latin American countries, reflecting a rich tapestry of Ibero-American identities and languages.
The WIP programs are designed to bolster the financing and post-production stages for fiction and documentary films. By introducing these projects to leading industry professionals, the festival aims to facilitate their completion and encourage international distribution and promotion.
Selected projects will be screened for sales agents, international distributors, festival programmers, and producers during the festival from March 11-13. The event is organized in collaboration with the Albacete Film Festival's talent lab, Abycine Lanza.
