Netflix Greenlights 'Mission: Cross 2' with Returning Stars Hwang and Yum

Netflix is gearing up for the sequel to its hit 2024 action-comedy "Mission: Cross." The original film, which topped Netflix's Global Top 10 Movies (Non-English) chart within three days of its release and ranked in the top 10 across 43 countries during its second week, will see the return of stars Hwang Jung-min and Yum Jung-ah.
Writer-director Lee Myung-hoon is set to helm "Mission: Cross 2," which will center on a national treasure heist recovery operation. Hwang reprises his role as Kang-mu, a former special ops agent pulled back into action, while Yum returns as Mi-seon, a former Asian Games shooting silver medalist turned detective.
Alongside the "Mission: Cross" sequel, Netflix has also announced the premiere of the psychological thriller series "The Price of Confession" on December 5th. The series marks the first Netflix outing for acclaimed actress Jeon Do-yeon, who stars as Yun-su, a woman accused of murdering her husband. The series also features Kim Go-eun as the mysterious Mo Eun and Park Hae-soo as a prosecutor.
In addition, Netflix Japan has unveiled the release dates for two new titles arriving in December: the dance film "10Dance" and the unscripted dating series "Badly in Love."
