Netflix is gearing up for the sequel to its hit 2024 action-comedy "Mission: Cross." The original film, which topped Netflix's Global Top 10 Movies (Non-English) chart within three days of its release and ranked in the top 10 across 43 countries during its second week, will see the return of stars Hwang Jung-min and Yum Jung-ah.
Writer-director Lee Myung-hoon is set to helm "Mission: Cross 2," which will center on a national treasure heist recovery operation. Hwang reprises his role as Kang-mu, a former special ops agent pulled back into action, while Yum returns as Mi-seon, a former Asian Games shooting silver medalist turned detective.
