TikToker Bill Hooper Found Safe After Week-Long Disappearance

TikTok personality William "Bill" Hooper, 29, has been found safe, concluding a week-long search initiated after his last confirmed sighting on May 21. He reappeared on May 29, having traveled from his home to New York City's Penn Station before his disappearance. Authorities confirmed Hooper was located in good health and returned on his own accord, with police emphasizing that there was no criminal aspect to the case.

Hooper's parents had shared that he was feeling overwhelmed, particularly after sustaining a leg injury that impacted his work. This led him to move back home in January. The content creator, who had gained over 23,000 followers on TikTok for his motivational posts, had paused his activity in March due to anxiety stemming from his online fame.

Lyndhurst Police Department Deputy Chief Paul F. Haggerty stated that law enforcement's efforts were in support of the Hooper family. He commended the collaboration between various law enforcement agencies that led to the successful conclusion of the investigation. The family expressed relief at his safe return, bringing closure to the concerned public.
