Philippines Wins Miss Supranational Title

The 17th Miss Supranational pageant concluded on July 31, 2026, crowning Katrina Llegado from the Philippines as its new winner. Held at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland, the event embraced the theme 'Festival of Beauty' with 67 contestants vying for the title. Llegado, a military reservist in the Philippine Air Force, advanced to the top five before securing the win. In a poignant interview moment, she spoke about embracing imperfection and becoming one's best self. The organization also celebrated the outgoing queen, Eduarda Braum of Brazil, for her service. A highlight of this year's event was the unveiling of the new Fioletowa Crown, a striking piece designed by George Wittels featuring purple gemstones. The color purple was chosen to represent ambition and royalty, signifying a woman with nothing left to prove. The preliminary rounds included a National Costumes Extravaganza, followed by evening wear and swimsuit competitions during the final event. Contestants are required to be between 18 and 32 years old and can be single, mothers, or divorced, provided they are currently unmarried.
