Mirzapur Actress on Intimate Scene Struggles

Anangsha Biswas, who portrayed Zarina Begum in both seasons of the popular Indian crime drama Mirzapur, has spoken about the arduous nature of filming intimate scenes. She shared her experiences performing bold scenes with co-actor Pramod Pathak, who played corrupt politician JP Yadav.

Biswas emphasized that these scenes are incredibly difficult, contrary to public perception. She explained that actors must overcome personal nervousness while appearing confident on camera, often in front of a large crew. The presence of a supportive co-actor is crucial, and Biswas noted that Pathak was particularly considerate, helping her navigate these challenging moments.

The actress also highlighted the professionalism of the Mirzapur production team, stating that the entire crew was hands-on in ensuring that actors never felt uncomfortable during filming. Biswas's character, Zarina, is depicted as an ambitious woman from a humble background determined to rise to power, using intimacy strategically in her transactional relationship with JP Yadav.
