The song 'Vaaroon,' originally featured in the 2020 series Mirzapur, has been given a new life in 'Mirzapur: The Movie' with the rendition 'Vaaroon Forever.' Lyricist Ginny Diwan shared her joy in seeing her work resonate with a fresh audience, seeing it as a validation of her efforts. The new version brings back composer Anand Bhaskar and singer Romy, with the addition of Shreya Ghoshal.

'Vaaroon' is notable for its tenderness amidst the typically intense 'Mirzapur' narrative. Diwan's journey with the franchise began with the Bhojpuri song 'Sajanwa Juganwa.' She also discussed the challenge of writing the item number 'Tittar Bittar,' focusing on empowering the female performer rather than objectifying her.
