Mirrorball Champion Karagach Transforms Efron into Surprise DWTS Contender

As the current season of Dancing with the Stars reaches its midpoint, one partnership has stood out for its rapid progress and impressive performances. Actor Dylan Efron, who entered the competition with no prior dance experience, has been paired with mirrorball champion Karagach, and the duo has quickly become a force to be reckoned with.

Just a few weeks into the season, Efron and Karagach earned the highest score of the year on Dedication Night, becoming the first couple to receive all nines from the judges. Karagach, known for her captivating choreography, has been effusive in her praise of Efron, calling him a "dream partner" for his tireless work ethic and positive attitude.

"He really started from the ground up, and the fact that people are recognizing it week to week, it just makes me such a proud coach," Karagach tells The Hollywood Reporter. "That is dream partner, for someone to show up and want to be there and work hard. I'll teach you how to dance, but I can't teach you how to work hard and be a good person."

As the competition heads into the highly anticipated Halloween Night, Karagach is excited to showcase a new side of Efron's dancing abilities with a Viennese Waltz routine. The pro dancer also teases that the duo has a "special" and potentially groundbreaking freestyle routine in the works, should they make it that far in the competition.
