Miley Rebrands as "Miley" with New Album

Miley, the pop icon previously known as Miley Cyrus, has officially embraced a simpler moniker for her latest musical endeavor. Her new 10-track album, "Bass Persuades," was released on Friday, September 17th, 2026, marking her first release under the Atlantic label. This project was co-written and produced by Miley herself, alongside notable collaborators including Kid Harpoon, Maxx Morando, Michael Pollack, and The Monsters & Strangerz.

The "Bass Persuades" album presents a varied sonic landscape. While some tracks are geared for the dancefloor, others explore reflective ballads characterized by dreamy synthesizers. Additionally, the set includes breezy acoustic songs featuring classic pop melodies. Miley is set to perform material from the album this weekend at two shows in the Hollywood Bowl. The post-punk band Model/Actriz, who also features on the album, will open the shows.
