- Fans have mixed reactions, some surprised by Teller's drastic look
- Biopic aims to tell Jackson's story, not declare his innocence

Fans recently got their first look at actor Miles Teller's transformation for his role in the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic. In the film's trailer, which debuted last week, Teller is seen portraying Jackson's lawyer, John Branca, wearing a prosthetic nose and a long, shaggy wig.
The 38-year-old actor's dramatic appearance has sparked a range of reactions from fans on social media. While some were surprised by the change, others expressed their approval, with one fan even quipping, "Even in that awful wig I still would."
The biopic, titled simply "Michael," is set to provide an in-depth portrayal of the late King of Pop. According to the film's producers, the goal is not to declare Jackson's innocence, but rather to tell his story and give insight into his artistic process and personal life.
Branca, who is serving as a producer on the film, has emphasized that the movie is "not defensive at all." He explained, "We are not out to declare Michael's innocence. The aim is to tell Michael's story. What was his journey? Who was he?"
With a screenplay written by John Logan and produced by Graham King, who previously worked on the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, the film promises to offer a comprehensive and nuanced portrayal of the legendary entertainer.
