Summary
- Firebook Entertainment expands into production
- 'Every Heavy Thing' premieres at Sitges Film Festival
- Lead actor Josh Fadem witnesses a murder and unravels

Firebook Entertainment, a company previously focused on the acquisition, sale, and theatrical distribution of elevated genre movies, is expanding its operations with the production of its first original feature film. The thriller 'Every Heavy Thing', written and directed by Mickey Reece, is set to make its European debut at the Sitges Film Festival.
The film stars Josh Fadem as a mild-mannered ad salesperson for an online periodical who witnesses a murder and spirals into a state of paranoia. Fadem's character is drawn into a web of disappearances of local women, hallucinations, and high-tech intrigue, as his grip on reality and personal welfare unravels. He is forced to confront sinister forces and secrets hiding in plain sight.
Joining Fadem in the cast are Vera Drew, Barbara Crampton, James Urbaniak, and Tipper Newton. The feature is produced by Kassie Gann, Peter Kuplowsky, Andrew Appleyard, and Firebook Entertainment's co-founder John Moss, along with David Bond and Juan Pablo Reinoso.
"This official launch of our production division highlights what Firebook does best: packaging, financing, and internationally distributing elevated genre features," said Moss. "Every Heavy Thing represents exactly that approach, and we couldn't be more excited to show our first original feature at Sitges - an ideal platform to showcase the kind of bold, globally resonant storytelling Firebook is built to champion."
