Mike Birbiglia has announced the cancellation of several upcoming dates on the John Mulaney Mister Whatever Tour. The comedian cited the emergence of a personal "dream project" as the reason for the schedule conflict, which he is unable to disclose at this time but anticipates fans will love.
The four affected shows are scheduled for August 30 in Calgary, Alberta; September 10 in Gilford, New Hampshire; September 11 in Mississauga, Ontario; and September 12 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Birbiglia assured fans that these cities would be the first stops on his 2027 solo tour, where he plans to debut his next hour of comedy and reveal his secret project.
Birbiglia expressed regret for the abrupt change but urged ticket holders to still attend Mulaney's performance, praising it as a top-tier show. He emphasized that refunds are available for those who need them. Birbiglia is known for his Netflix specials and his podcast "Working It Out."
