Summary
- Michelle Pfeiffer stars in Taylor Sheridan's new Western series, 'The Madison'.
- Many stars join Sheridan's shows without scripts, trusting his reputation.
- Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford also took leaps of faith for '1923'.
Michelle Pfeiffer is the latest Hollywood star to join Taylor Sheridan's expanding television empire, taking on the role of Stacy Clyburn in the new Paramount+ series, 'The Madison.' This marks Pfeiffer's first foray into the Western genre. She admitted to taking a "big leap of faith" as Sheridan initially lacked a script, preferring to cast actors before writing.
Pfeiffer sought advice from Helen Mirren, who starred in Sheridan's '1923.' Mirren's positive experience with Sheridan's unique approach to storytelling and his productions, especially in Montana, convinced Pfeiffer to commit. Mirren herself had also accepted the role of Cara Dutton in '1923' without a script, trusting Sheridan's track record.
