Scary Movie Director Lands WME Deal

Filmmaker Michael Tiddes recently signed with WME for representation. This move comes shortly after his latest film, Scary Movie, achieved significant global success, crossing the $200 million mark at the box office and marking the biggest opening in the franchise's history. Tiddes is credited with reintroducing the iconic spoof series to a new generation of moviegoers.

Prior to his work on Scary Movie, Tiddes directed two successful films for Netflix: Sextuplets and Naked. These projects, also collaborations with actor Marlon Wayans, both reached the No. 1 position on the streaming platform. Tiddes’ feature directorial debut was the 2013 horror-comedy A Haunted House, which garnered over $70 million worldwide on a modest $1.5 million budget.
