Filmmaker Michael Sarnoski is attached to direct the pilot and executive produce HBO's anticipated limited series, 'The Chain.' This project marks a reunion with star Jodie Comer, with whom he previously worked on the forthcoming thriller 'The Death of Robin Hood.'
Based on Adrian McKinty's acclaimed New York Times bestseller, the eight-episode series will feature Comer as Rachel, a suburban mother forced into an unimaginable situation when her daughter is abducted.
'The Chain' is a Media Res production, with Damon Lindelof serving as writer, executive producer, and showrunner. The pilot's story and script were developed by Lindelof, Carly Wray, and Breannah Gibson. Michael Ellenberg, Shane Salerno, Breannah Gibson, and Joe Iberti also executive produce, alongside author Adrian McKinty as co-executive producer.
