Michael Movie Shatters Biopic Box Office Records

The music biopic Michael is rapidly approaching a significant milestone, with projections indicating it will surpass $350 million at the North American box office. This achievement positions it as the first live-action film of 2026 to reach this domestic benchmark. The film is also on track to become the all-time second-highest-grossing biopic domestically, with only "American Sniper" currently ahead.

As of its seventh week, Michael has collected $348.7 million in North America, with a strong performance of $2.2 million on its seventh Friday, despite a decrease in theaters. Globally, the film's total stands at an impressive $859.1 million, with its international earnings reaching $510.5 million.
