Los Angeles County is seeking over $1.2 million in back child support from the estate of the late actor Michael Madsen. The claim, filed by the Los Angeles County Child Support Services Department, alleges that Madsen owed his ex-wife, Jeannine Bisignano, $1,267,573.49. This debt is tied to their divorce judgment from March 1995. Bisignano may be entitled to a portion of payments from Madsen's SAG pension plan.
Michael Madsen passed away in July 2025 from cardiac arrest. Currently, his sons, Christian and Max, are in a legal battle with their mother over control of his estate. Bisignano has expressed her desire to administer the estate to secure the funds she believes are owed to her. However, their sons filed their own petition earlier this month to manage the estate's affairs. A court hearing regarding their petition is scheduled for next week.
