Actor Michael Jai White, celebrated for his work in "Spawn" and "The Dark Knight," is now part of the cast for the martial arts feature "Paper Made." Production for the film is currently underway in Tampa, Florida.
The movie is set at a fictional historically Black college or university (HBCU). It tells the story of Tavon Watkins, a student who becomes involved with a clandestine fraternity of Black martial artists after experiencing a significant hazing incident.
White, recognized as a master of numerous martial arts disciplines and the first non-Asian recipient of the Bruce Lee Award in 2025, will also take on an executive producer role for "Paper Made." He joins a cast that includes Myles Truitt, Taimak, Walter E. Jones, Daria Rae Berenato, Marrese Crump, and others.
