Michael Jackson Biopic: Early Access Screenings Announced

The highly anticipated Michael Jackson biopic, 'Michael,' is offering fans an exclusive early look. Lionsgate announced that limited early-access screenings will be held on Wednesday, April 22, in premium formats. This special preview comes just before the film's wide release on Friday of the same week. Tickets for these one-night-only events will be available for purchase starting Wednesday, March 11. The film stars Jaafar Jackson, the King of Pop's nephew, in the iconic role. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, 'Michael' aims to explore Jackson's life beyond his music, chronicling his rise from a prodigious talent in the Jackson 5 to a global phenomenon. The movie will highlight both his personal journey and some of his most memorable early solo performances, offering a unique perspective on the celebrated artist. "For Michael Jackson's fans, Michael is the cinematic event they've been waiting for," stated Kevin Grayson, President of Worldwide Distribution for Lionsgate Motion Picture Group. He added that the early access screenings in IMAX and premium large formats will provide an immersive experience of Jackson's electrifying performances and his powerful music.
